When does Medicare pay less than 80% of approved amount
Steven48's post was an eye-opener for me that helped greatly in understanding "Medicare math." Allow me, however, to make a small correction in the example. He correctly stated that (emphasis mine) "reimbursements are reduced by 2%." Thus it's the $80 that's reduced by 2%. So in the...- Bill-N
