Best Plan for My Life ???

Hi Guys, I am a 66 year old single male who recently left San Diego where I had the Sharp United Medicare program and moved to the Bend Oregon area where I now have switched to Pacific Source which seems to be popular up here.
I am now second guessing this choice based on ridiculously high co-pays.

My sister who is older than me has “Traditional Medicare” which she says covers everything and I should switch..

While I do have some serious health issues I want to ask the quorum, getting a deeper understanding of the entire Medicare system seems like a great place to start... Any responses appreciated :::

High copays is an indicator of a Medicare Advantage (MA) plan. Expect copays and premiums to continue to rise as the government cuts back funding for the MA program. For those trying MA plans for the first time, there is a one year window in which you can switch back to Original Medicare and choose a Medigap (Medicare Supplement). This is known as a Special Enrollment Period (SEP). If you are outside of the SEP you can still switch back to Original Medicare but are subject to medical underwriting for the Medigap. This means the Medigap can refuse to accept you.

Medigap Plans G, N, and F-HD are the most popular now. The letters represent different levels of coverage. For example, all Plan G's have the same benefits. The only difference is the premium and customer service offered by the insurance company. If you do go back to Original Medicare and choose a Medigap, you will also need a Part D drug coverage plan.

Medigap Plan F (low deductible) used to be popular but will stop accepting new enrollees in 2020. As those remaining become older and sicker, the premiums will need to rise to cover the costs. Healthy people currently in F are switching to G, N, and F-HD while they can still pass the medical underwriting.
