Cap For Out Of Pocket Costs For Rx?

I am posting this in the General category because it pertains to both Advantage plans and Part D plans.

The Advantage plans and Part D plans that I have looked at do not have caps on out-of-pocket prescription costs.

While these plans provide for very low copays for generics in the Catastrophic Coverage stage, there is a 5% copay for some drugs.

Are there Advantage and/or Plan D plans that have caps on out-of-pocket costs for prescription drugs?

Thank you for any advice regarding this topic.

Unfortunately there are no caps when it comes to Medicaer Part D and Advantage plans. Once you get out of the donut hole and enter the Catastrophic Coverage stage that is where you will see a significant drop in expense. At the beginning of the following year your coverage limits will reset and the process will continue.
