It's sad how much Medicare fraud that exists that goes unpunished. But this story should be a lesson to all who try to cheat Medicare and in turn cheat all of the taxpayers. You will eventually be caught and punished!

A doctor in Florida was sentenced to 20 years in prison for his scheme to write phony prescriptions which defrauded the Medicare system out of millions of dollars.

For every one of these Medicare fraud dudes they catch there are probably 100 they don't catch.

What happened to honesty? And a Dr. no less. Talking about giving the profession a bad name, they should make an example of ALL of those convicted of Medicare fraud.
