Doctors could face Medicare cuts Jan. 18

Close to 650,000 doctors that care for millions of Medicare patients will get a 27.4% cut in Medicare payments Jan. 18 unless Congress issues a reprieve, according to Medicare officials.

That is not good. It is hard enough for many seniors to find a doctor now and if the Medicare payments to doctors get cut, fewer of them will accept Medicare parients. Congress needs to get off it's behind and act now to fix this problem.

For the life of me I don't understand how congress can keep fooling with our Medicare! Stop using Medicare as a tool to get your way. It's bad enough that the millionaires pay little or no tax but now they want to disable Medicare by cutting the Doctor's payments! Soon there won't be any Doctors that take Medicare and then what will they do? Of course they don't care, they are millionaires and have top notch health care.

My Mama would say they should be taken behind the wood shed and given a good whuppin!
