I suggest that you have your Doctor call the insurance company and tell them that the other medicines do not work for you and you need the one that works. This has worked for other people before, give it a try.

THEN if they do not allow you to have the medicine you need, consider switching to another Part D provider during open enrollment beginning next October. I know that is a long time to wait but you may not have a choice. Be sure you review the drug list carefully that the new provider offers before selecting one.

Good luck!

RE: I am Having Trouble

First things first...I too am using silverscript...and I am a retired Pharmacist... The advice above is correct..have your physician call Silverscrip and have him submit the paperwork that "may" be required.. BUT you better first check and see if Hyoscyamine (brand name Levsin) is even on Medicares list of drugs that they will cover...if medicare does not pay for the drug NO insurance company can pay for it under Medicare part D ...I'm quite surprised DiPhenoxalate (lomotil) did not work or at least help...

I know from experience that Nitroglycerin is not covered By Medicare... so none of the companies who offer Part D plans will cover it even if they wanted to....Period! In this case it is no big deal because it is not expensive ...
