Medicare Advantage Enrollment Up, Cost Drops

Good news for those on Medicare Advantage Plans, fees are down overall during the past year. Medicare Advantage is a private plan available instead of the traditional (original) Medicare plan where the government pays private insurers a set amount per member to provide health care. Many Medicare Advantage plans also include prescription drug plans.

With reduced premiums it is no wonder that enrollment was up during the same period.
