My family is covered under Human National POS family deductible medicare plan. My company pays premium amount for this plan. This is a very high deductible plan, i.e 5500 dollars. After that Humana starts paying 80%. My wife is now 8 weeks pregnant now. Could you please suggest me any other plans which can help me here ? I spoke with Humana people but they are not willing to change the plan as it is provided by my company even though i am ready to pay additional amounts from my pocket.
This year I was admitted hospital on emergency and ended up paying around 6200 from my pocket. At least I want to be careful next time. Please provide me other options/alternatives we have here. I would very much appreciate any help or guidance you are able to provide me.
