Medicare Not Covering All New Cancer Meds

Many new cancer meds are coming to market, but Medicare won't cover much of the cost. Steep copayments are charged on some of the newest drugs making it hard for some Seniors to afford.

This is a sad story to me. You have a Senior who has worked all of her life, now on Medicare, and did the right thing by purchasing a Medicare prescription drug program, only to be told that her cancer drug is going to cost $2,400 per month in copayments, which she can't afford.

Well ain't that just the pits? Give us some hope against the most deadly disease on this earth and then try to rob us blind because they know they got us over a barrel. I feel so sorry for that woman.

These drug companies have no soul. If my Mama were alive she would take them out behind the woodshed and give em a whoppin!

This is indeed sad. When you most the need Medicare prescription drug program, when you are at the lowest point in your life, they throw this in your face. Sorry, but you aren't covered, go ahead and die if you can't afford it.
