Open enrollment dates to change for Medicare Advantage and Part D

The open enrollment dates for Medicare Advantage Plan (part c) and Medicare Prescription Drug plan (part d) will change this hear. This year's (2011) open enrollment runs from Oct 15th to Dec 7th, while last year ran from Nov. 15th to Dec 31st. That gives a longer time period for people to get make their changes, however they must be aware that it no longer lasts until the end of the year.
