Seniors need more Medicare education

A survey by the National Council on Aging survey says seniors need more education on Medicare basics.

Bull! Medicare needs to be made simpler and easier to understand! Many seniors get frustrated with the maze of different parts that covers this and that. When they had private health care it was one part and it covered hospital, doctor visits, and prescription drugs. Leave it to the government to take something that could have 1 part and make it have 4 parts!

So instead of blaming seniors for not knowing how medicare works, let's make it easy to understand for goodness sake!

I agree completely. It's a shame that something that could be so simple has been made so difficult. The last thing someone of my age wants is to have someone send them to a website with endless pages of documentation. I would much rather have an actual person give me details in as few words as possible!

I agree completely, the whole system is extremely confusing for anyone, not just seniors. Many seniors that I talk to have no idea what they have, and how it works. It really is completely confusing. A less expensive, streamlined system is what is needed!
