Does the approval of a part B application just pop up on the social security site under benefits when approved?

I am two weeks in awaiting a decision. I have a SEP application for part B.

Currently the SS site only shows part A, C and D.

Otherwise do I need to call them to get the info? And how long should I wait before I start getting nervous?

I applied around the same time as you did and now almost May, still do not have approval. Did you finally get it? I’ve called them on several occasions with no answer.

I did get the approval in the first week of February. I would contact them ASAP.

Lucky you! I just got off the phone with them again. No one knows what’s taking so long! Nice huh? I’m very frustrated. Going to wait two more weeks like I was told then I’ll have to go to a social security office. Thanks for your reply!
