I have AARP Medicare Complete with United Health. i need to get a Avastin injection for macular degeneration. I am in the Rio Grand Valley and when I mention United Heath to any opathamologist they slam the door in my face.
Does any one know a opathamoligist near McAllen, TX that will take United Health or do you know of a "work around"?
After talking for hours with United Health Customer Service with no assistance I found out there is a lot of the US that is not covered. I wish they would have a map of covered areas when you are traveling.
United Heath Custer Service leaves a lot to be desired.
