Great question Guy. Just an FYI, Medicare Supplement plans are regulated by the Federal Government. Every alphabet letter plan is exactly the same with the only difference being price and company you choose. There can be as much as a $200/month difference in price between one companies Plan F and another Companies. There is absolutely no difference in what the company pays. So shop the market, there is usually 6-20 plans in most states and you want the best price. Just remember if you are past 65 and have been on Medicare for a bit, there might be medical underwriting questions which exclude you from coverage. Medicare Supplements/Medigap pays every penny that Medicare does not as long as its a Plan F. It will not cover procedures that Medicare does not approve.
