Dental Coverage

Am I mistaken that dental and vision aren't covered under any Medicare plan?

Does anyone have a recommendation on dental coverage. As everyone knows a trip to a dentist can drain your savings in no time.:s

I'm pretty sure there are multiple plans for vision and over the years we've been able to do better with vision center promos and discounts than the vision coverage included in our company healthcare plan

Hey,

Medicare does not cover preventative dental or vision.

You can still find dental and vision coverage under some group plans, and occasionally in some Medicare Advantage plans. The coverage, if it exists is usually minimal and is going the way of the dinosaur. Unfortunately, many dental plans on the market have maximums and wait periods. If you're ok with that, you should be able to find some to provide that basic coverage.
