Seems that the new Medicare fraud prevention efforts is hurting the Medicare providers of "at home care". I would venture to say that most of these providers supply equipment rather than services. Equipment such as the various brands "power chairs" you see advertised all day long on daytime TV that "didn't cost me a penny" according to the actor testimonial.
You wonder how these providers can afford the millions of dollars to advertise these products and if it didn't cost the patient a penny then it seems to me something must be wrong in the Medicare payment system.
