Medicare Denied A Claim To Chiropractor

I pulled something in my back while lifting and after a month of it not getting better went to see a chiropractor who fixed my problem after 3 visits and now I am seeing Medicare denied those claims which made my secondary denied their portion of the claims . Anyone know why they both have denied the claims .I`m 69 and the only time I have ever used medicare is my yearly physical .

Medicare will usually pay for about 12 adjustments per year, so I wouldn't know why they denied your claim. I don't think they will pay for Xrays by the chiropractor.

This is all new to me . Any suggestions on how to go about inquiring and to whom I should ask about why they did not approve these charges to my chiropractor ?

I am assuming you have original Medicare and not a Medicare Advantage Plan?

Yes , original medicare . Thanks for the reply
The reason why your secondary insurance wont cover these expenses is because it only will cover what Medicare covers. So for instance if Medicare chose to cover your chiropractor, then it would cover 80% of those expenses and then your supplement would cover the remaining 20%. However, since Medicare decided not to cover it, therefore your supplement will not. That is how Original Medicare works.
