New and Confused

The one i get is called Neksium from India. It has Astra Zeneca on the package. And it says 'only for sale in India and Nepal'. For what it is worth... But its cheap! And it seems to work as good as the old nexium

You can get meds from India CHEAP! That's what I do.

Hi, and welcome!

Since Medicare dictates what plans must cover (F, N, and so forth), the only difference would be the cost that the insurer charges. So pick a company that you feel will provide you good service, as well as one that has a cost that you can live with.

As far as Part D, you can change that every year during the Open Enrollment period without penalty. So if you aren't satisfied with your choice, you can change to another. It is easy to do online via the Medicare website.

How do we figure out which company will provide the best service? That's my #1 unsolved question as I look over the list of about 50 companies that offer Medigap plans here in Kentucky. I turned 65 in March, it's now Auguse, my 6 month window closes in 2 weeks ao I have to decide, go with the cheapest rates from a company I've never heard of, of pay more for a mega company like Aetna or AARP's partner United?

This process is a royal pain, a pain which is apparently not covered by Medicare.
Thanks,

I’m no expert, but I would be careful of unknown company. Don’t know about you, but my name was sold to third parties so all the ads were disposed in trash because so much was unknown company, unknown person and they never should have had my data.
