This is an interesting article about the effects of drinking protein drinks after exercise versus drinking carbohydrate drinks. They did a study and it showed that protein drinks after aerobic exercise increased the training effect after six weeks, as compared to drinking carbohydrate drinks.
Also I thought it was interesting that one researcher who took part in the study said "It is not a mystery that exercise and nutrition help slow the aging process". It is not a mystery to me but I just posted a couple of days ago about an article which stated that there was no evidence that exercise increases lifespan, which I didn't agree with and neither did other posters.
