ok - just what does it mean that Medicare can release my information for research and "other purposes" which follow all applicable Federal statutes and regulations ---WHICH ARE WHAT.!
looking at SCAN which states that it will release my info to Medicare and other plans as necessary for treatment and that I MUST use SCAN for ALL of my medical care and without "authorization" nothing is covered...does that mean I have to call both SCAN and Medicare prior to any medical services or they wont cover. What if I am unconscious.....can't call ya then...what happens?
