Republicans back off on Medicare Revamp

The Republicans angered both Seniors and Democrats with their proposal to privatize Medicare and are now backing off their plan in upcoming budget talks.

What did they expect? If you mess with Medicare or Social Security you are going to anger Seniors! After all they have paid into these funds their entire working life and expect them to be there when they need them.

I would be mad as a hornet if they tried to take my Medicare away me!

Don't think it will ever happen, at least in my lifetime. But you can never tell what the politicians will do, so keep an eye on them!
